Austin Boyd grew up in the window and door business, surrounded by grandpas, his dad, uncles, cousins, a brother and now his own son, all working the same trade.
He was taught one rule: if you do what’s right, you can’t be wrong. It guides how he treats his customers, his community and his family, and it’s in every window and door he installs. The company is built on that legacy: hard work and total dedication to the craft.
While his father Don served overseas, Austin held the line at home, making sure not a single customer went unserved.

Two generations of military service, four generations in windows and doors.
1st genRobert Boyd
U.S. military retiree. Joined his son-in-law at Shwinco Windows later in life and started the family legacy in windows and doors.
2nd genDonald “Don” Boyd
Retired from the U.S. military after multiple tours, up to Special Forces. Started at Shwinco, then founded A Better View.
3rd genAustin Boyd
Leads the company today. Grew up on job sites and installs by one rule: if you do what’s right, you can’t be wrong.
4th genDean Boyd
Eldest of six. Has tagged along on jobs since he was a boy and at 18 already has more hands-on experience than many ten-year installers.
