It started with Robert Boyd, a military retiree who went to work selling windows and doors. His son Don, a Special Forces veteran, founded A Better View. Today Austin runs the company, and his son Dean is already on the job.

How do I know if my windows and doors need replacing?
Drafts, fogging between the panes, windows or doors that stick or won’t lock, rising power bills and visible rot or warping are the usual signs. If your windows are original to an older home, they likely aren’t rated for Florida’s current wind-borne debris rules either. Not sure? The free in-home consultation gives you an honest answer.
How long does installation take?
It depends on how many openings, how complex the job is and the weather. On average, a full-home replacement takes one to three days.
Do I need a permit?
Yes, permits are required, and A Better View handles all of the permitting and verifies every Florida Product Approval for you.
Will new windows and doors make my home more secure?
Yes. The Legacy Defense 5XP package pairs a tempered outer lite with a laminated inner lite that resists cutting or tearing through, and it’s tested and rated against forced entry.
Do you offer financing?
